Fun to play with, after DIFFICULT assembly July 14, 2010 onmymerryway This tractor was extremely difficult to assemble - taking my husband over an hour and some modifications just to make parts fit. The rear axle was not long enough, and the screws that hold together the steering wheel cover did not fit at all. Considering how few parts this toy has, it should not have been this difficult to put together. Once assembled, however, my (almost) two year old LOVED to play with it - and so did his five year old brother! This toy was a gift, but I would hesitate before purchasing any other Little Tykes products requiring assembly.
Grandson loved it! May 9, 2010 Gail C. Karstaedt (Kohler, WI USA) Required some assembly - bolts for the tires were to small, required additional purchase. Recommend putting it together before giving to child like we did to ensure there are no "issues" Aside from that....sturdy. Was a HUGE hit!
more than disappointed June 17, 2009 Bobby Schochet (Washington, DC) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought 2 of these for my twin grandsons, based on the other positive reviews....but it took forever to assemble AND they tractors kept turning over. The plastic is very lightweight and offers no stability. My daughter has a very large driveway and I thought these would be perfect, but our 2 yr. olds kept toppling over.
Great ride on toy May 20, 2009 D. Reginald Endsley (Lawndale, NC) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is by far the best toddler set on toy we'vr run accross. Our daughter got a third handed one free when her first child was about 14 months. He loved it and rode on it for years and it is still at our house and still rides, five years later. When little brother came we order him one. His two cousin have ridden the little tractor here all over the place. They can push it on our gravel drive. The sun has not distroyed it. It has gone to the beach and been riden in the ocean. While we've gone through dozens of other little set ons this one's still here and being ridden.
Good tractor, just like the retired green one December 25, 2008 J. King 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this to replace the green Little Tikes Tractor we bought for my daughter 5 years ago. My son was using the green tractor but I accidentally broke it, so instead of paying outrageous amounts of money on that auction site for a used one, I paid 40.00 for a brand new one. The instructions were easy to read, the toy went together well however the wheels are a little stiff and don't roll on the hardwood floor like the old green tractor did. I am hoping with some adjusting and time they will roll better. Right now when my son uses it he ends up sliding all over the place instead of rolling, which is frustrating to him.
