Flimsy and cheaply made toy...don't bother! June 10, 2009

I bought this for my 11 year old. He has played with it twice and now it collects dust in his closet. It does ok when it is the ring shape in regards to flight but it doesn't clip together well and will flip out to the boomorang shape too easily. The boomerang shape is not strong enough to be able to throw easily and get to come back to you. You would need to have a throwing arm of steel to get it to go that far and come back too. Ours literally just went 10 feet then and fell to the ground as it turned to come back every time. I've had wooden boomerangs and know how to throw them and how it should work...this doesn't remotely work well as a real boomerang.
