Gave it as a gift for my 7 year old son on his birthday, while we were at the beach. He lost interest within five minutes of throwing it, and then having to go and chase it down, because it did not return.

This toy is not well made. It fails as both a boomerang and a frisbee, to my 7 year old's great dismay. A real disappointment.

My son saw this on a commercial and wanted it. I guess I should have known better. It is very light-weight and not sturdy at all. I'd call it cheap. Every time we switched it from a ring to a boomerang, it felt like it was going to break. Definitely not a good toy for a 5-year old, or even a 35-year old! Save your money.
