 The best kids basketball hoop June 28, 2010

This is my third kids basketball hoop and it is a perfect indoor / outdoor basketball set. It's very solid and extends to the ceiling in my family room (and higher outside). The lower setting is great for my 3 year old and extends to challenge my 9 year old. It's larger than most kid basketball sets and that is a plus for me (but a negative for my wife). I give it my highest grade.

My five year old received this toy for his birthday. For the most part it was easy to put together. The net was a little difficult to put on. The worst part was adding the sand to the base. The hole is so small that it will take me hours to fill it up with sand. If you do not do this it is very easily knocked over.

The net does not stay on - constantly coming off. Would not recommend this toy unless you don't care about having the net on! Not sure if other basketball hoops are like this one or not?? Disappointed....

The net is very difficult to hang, and once hung, doesn't stay on. After I watched it repeatedly fall out of the slots while my nephews were playing with it (ages 5 and 7), I finally took the net down.
