Easy & durable August 29, 2010 Jason P. Trechok I bought this to use with my GF's 4 year old. I read some good reviews about it and they were all true. With no internal supports to speak of there are no cross-bracers to bend or snap. The airfoil design makes it very easy to use with even a slight breeze. It will often take off from the ground if it is facing right-side up after landing. Which is very nice because you always don't have to have that second person running out to get the kite and hold it up, as is sometimes the case with some traditional kites. I would highly recommend this to anyone just looking for an enjoyable starter kite with little hassle.
Life and times with me and the Skyfoil(tm) Frameless Parafoil Kite: Lazer by X-Kites August 29, 2010 Jesse D. Bikman (Charlotte, NC USA) This kite is really easy to fly! I was able to fly it all the way from the highest peak of Gasworks park in Seattle, all the way over lake Union. I in fact had to pull my kite back a bit because I was worried about getting seaplane pilots jumpy and surprised at the close airspace proximity of my kite.
One pro that I'm not sure is mentioned by anyone else, is how portable this thing is if you leave it in its original packaging. I had no problem stuffing this in my suitcase and taking it back to Charlotte with me. I can't say the same for the other kite I bought with it, for which the packing experience was tantamount to stuffing a dead eagle into my suitcase.
I kind of wish it looked a little bit cooler or was a little bit bigger, but as for satisfying the basic needs of the task for which it was designed, this kite takes full marks, as it yearns to soar. If you are learning how to fly a kite, and don't want any challenges, then get this kite. Also, if you are interested in attaching a camera to your kite, and you want something seriously stable, then use this kite as well. Just don't ask me how to mount it...
excellent kite July 10, 2010 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Years ago I bought same kite at the museum store of Air and Space Museum in DC. However this one is fraction of the price and perfoms similarly.
I especially love the fact that this design folds into a small size. Stays with me in my car all the time. you never know when you'll need a little fun :)
Easiest kite ever to fly December 29, 2009 LisaJay 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
My family loves this kite. We have gifted it to family and friends, and have bought a second one for ourselves. It is incredibly easy to get up as long as there is wind. If I can fly it anyone can. I'm the Charlie Brown of kite flying.

I have one of these in our cars in case we're out and there's a nice breeze. Easy to store!
Good to have one or two on hand for the last minute gift when the kids get invited to birthday party's as it fits for both girls and boys.
