We got 2 of these kites before a trip to the ocean. I've got a 3 and 7 yr old. The wife and I haven't flown kites since we were kids so we wanted easy, we wanted fast setup and we wanted them to work. The good news? They do....The bad news? NONE. They're awesome kites, went up and stayed up. My 3 yr old launched them with ease, my seven yr old could do it by herself, me and mom smiled and life was good. They pack back up with ease and when packed take up very little room. We got the 500' extra spools with them. This might be the best toy product I've ever purchased.

Love this kite. Gave it to my 2 year old grandson. Of course, he could not fly it, but we watched his two older cousins, age 10 and 12 do it. It was easy, and I couldn't believe how easily it took off. We watched it sailing through the air for hours....my grandson was amazed. He loves balloons, so this was particularly fun to watch. Can't wait to get more use out of it...especially when we visit the beach! Great product.

Two little grandsons who "have everything" didn't have a kite. When the oldest opened it, his response was, "But I don't want that!" and my heart sank. After all, it's a big box and the kite is a narrow, cellophane-wrapped nondescript package. But it was a windy day, and after lunch, the 3 and 6 year olds and Daddy, Grandma and Grandpa went to an empty soccer field. It took three seconds to figure out how to assemble it after we found the thin crosspiece in the grass. The Daddy, remembering kites we had bought him as a child, was properly skeptical; that is, until he held up the kite and it practically took him with it. Those little boys were absolutely and totally thrilled, and had it not begun to rain, we would have been out there for more than the hour. I highly recommend this kite and the relationships that can be built with it. Best Toy Purchase in six years. Thanks to those who designed it and sell it.

I ordered the kitty and the puppy kite. Assembly is so super easy (yeah!) and the kites are well made/durable. When I went to assemble the puppy, I found I was missing the cross strut (it seemed like it was missing from the package, but my kids might have taken it when I wasn't looking). Anyway, this kite company is easy to contact via e-mail or by facebook. They are sending me the missing part. That's a quality company in my book. We flew the kitty kite the other day and it was easy and fantastic - worth every penny!!!! I will absolutely buy again if/when we lose one or need to replace it.

We have only used this a few times, but it is the best kite I have ever flown. Very easy to do. My 4 year old was able to help a lot and hold it himself. It is really cute and well made. Glad I purchased it and would recommend.
