Makes a Great Ball Pit! September 1, 2010 Gina3030 (Chicago, IL) I bought this for my 2 year old and 10 month old to use as a ball pit for their playroom. It is perfect!!! I filled with about 600 balls, although we could have used less. 300-400 would be fine.. They love it, it's deep enough to keep all of the balls in and big enough so that I can go in with them! We get lots of compliments on it. So happy with the purchase!
No drainplug August 10, 2010 T. Wassermann (CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this pool because I read in the reviews and the product discription that it has a drainplug, the first one that I ordered did'nt have a drainplug. Amazon told me to order it again, but the second one didn't have a drainplug too. Now I will send this one back...again. And I really wan't to know wich pool all the people ordered who wrote in the review that the pool has a drainplug!!!!!!
Deep with padded bottom = better than the rest August 3, 2010 P Dub (Seattle, WA USA) Only had the pool filled for a week, but so far so good. Padded bottom is the biggest win, though a tiny bit tricky to maintain balance on for the young ones (under say 3). Other pools we'd have to set up on grass which isn't great for the lawn and you're still standing/sitting on rocks, pine cones, etc.
And our kids love the extra depth as compared to the much shallower pools.
The thing we don't know yet is longevity. Other inflatables we've bought don't last a season so I'll update this review in a month or two.
Still going after rough use! August 2, 2010 H. Lewis We bought this pool to use indoors as a ball pit. I have twin 2 year olds and 2 older boys. This pool has withstood a lot of rough play and has never lost air. The little kids stand and bounce on the edges, fling themselves over the sides etc. Very durable. I'm quite surprised. I didn't expect it to work so well. I think we've had it at least 6 months with no air leaks. I've never put water in it so I can't comment there. I do see how it would make a great birthing pool. It's quite comfortable to sit in and the sides are high enough to support your back.
Finally a pool with a drain plug! August 1, 2010 V. Bryce (Dallas, TX) ***Update from previous review: They must have changed manufacturers because I bought a second one and it does not have the drain!!! Why did they change a good thing!
We have been happy with this pool. It does have a drain plug as stated which we are thrilled to have. Nice feature to have a padded floor when little tots like to jump in!
