This is easy to put together. That being said, the accelerator is a bit too hard to control for my 3 year old. Also, the steering is not that great on this. Since this is the 1st one that I have bought, I'm not sure if this is common with all of these types of toys or not. I would still recommend this, but would advise parents to be aware of this.

Easy assembly, charger stores in the tractor, grandson hasn't broken it in a month and brings him great joy. The slick tires are not a problem on flat mowed grass. On slight incline the tires do lose traction.

Great little tractor toy. Its a pretty durable item. My grandson has a lot of fun with this and it goes pretty good. He had this thing for about a week and then told me that "farming is his life"...so I knew we hit a home run. I would recommend this item to anyone.

I have been looking for some kind of ride-on for my son for quite a while. I was not sure how much he would use it so I didn't want to spend a ton of money up front. I purchased the Lil Red Tractor and he just loves it! I was very impressed by the quality of the item. We had a Peg Perego stroller for him when he was a baby...so I knew Peg Perego made a nice product. I was not dissapointed!
The tractor has plenty of speed for my son...and not enough that he can get himself in any trouble. This is a great starter item for any child. I look forward to getting him into some of the other cool items I have seen that Peg Perego has!

I would not recommend this for children under two, speed is too fast for small children. It does not come with a trailer even though one is mentioned in the description. Has no reverse so be prepared to keep adjusting direction. Does go in grass but the wheels spin lot.For the money it is an okay ride on.
